Ongoing Research Projects

MRC currently, conducting several research projects addressing different mycetoma problems by different research groups locally and in collaboration with different international centres and institutes.  These include:

1. Double blind clinical trial in mycetoma on fosravuconazole in collaboration with Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative and Eisai Co., Ltd. Japan.
2. The epidemiology of mycetoma in endemic states in the Sudanin collaboration with Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative.
3. Clinical trial in novel diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of mycetoma.
4. The Clinical Aspects of Mycetoma.
5. The Immunogenetics of Mycetoma.
6. The Effects of Mycetoma on Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics of some Antifungal Drugs.
